The Glock 22 is a sidearm developed by Glock Ges, which has since been adapted for use globally with law enforcement and military, selling millions of variants over the years.
Overview[]
The original Glock 22 was developed to fill a gap between 9mm and .45 caliber weapons. Besides utilizing several specifications of existing sidearms, the Glock stood out for its use of synthetic materials, which made them very cost-effective for organizations to purchase in bulk. The Glock 22 is currently on its fourth generation of design, having been updated since its original deployment.
