Prudence Knight (born 1985) is a minor character in The IT Files. A British historian, Prudence works for the International Temporal Enforcement Agency as a historical analyst.
Biography[]
Prudence was born in Southampton, England, the younger daughter of a plasterer and a homemaker. Unlike her sister Verity Knight, Prudence was more outgoing and confident, able to quickly make friends despite her more intellectual pursuits. While initially addicted to television and fantasy books, as Prudence matured she took more of an interest in history. Soon reading historical textbooks in her free time, Prudence's grades went from average to the top of her class. Upon finishing school Prudence was accepted into Oxford.
Prudence pushed herself hard to earn a Master's Degree in History in as little as five years, often forsaking trips to see her family or to socialize to do so. Despite the sacrifices Prudence still made a few friends, even discovering in her third year that she was sexually interested in both men and women. Upon graduating from Oxford Prudence was soon approached by the International Temporal Enforcement Agency about working as an analyst, aware that historical knowledge may have some merit in their cases. Despite her co-workers viewing her duties as fairly useless Prudence still poured her heart into her new, top secret job, quickly making friends with some other more unusual hires. Prudence also explored dating, entering a relationship with Mariana Campos.
